Antiform

Vipps for organisations on Flimmer

How to apply for Vipps products, what gets configured and by whom, and what to expect day to day.

This guide is written for your organisation's administrators — not developers. No technical integration work is required of you. Antiform is a registered Vipps Platform Partner and does the integration, development and maintenance.

Who this applies to. Vipps through Antiform is available to organisations whose website runs on Flimmer, our platform. Antiform builds and operates a custom frontend for each organisation, and the Vipps integration lives inside that. It is not a payment or login integration Antiform adds to a website built and hosted elsewhere.

Platform mechanics and your agreement are different things. This document describes how the platform behaves. What your members are charged, who pays it, what your membership terms say, and what Antiform charges you are commercial matters settled per organisation — not platform settings. Nothing here states your terms.

On timing. The durations in this document cover the Vipps side only — the product order, KYC, and configuring Vipps against your sales unit. Building your directory itself is a separate and considerably larger piece of work, scoped and scheduled in your platform engagement with Antiform. The Vipps track runs alongside it and is rarely what decides your launch date.

Two points worth stating plainly:

Products

ProductWhat it does for youStatus
LoginMembers sign in with Vipps — no passwords to run or resetIntegrated
RecurringMembership fees collected by mandate and recurring chargeIntegrated
DonationsStandalone donation flows via QR or deep linkVipps-managed, no API integration

Each product is ordered separately, and the order you apply in matters.

Login is not a sales unit of its own — it is switched on for a sales unit you already have. A sales unit ordered specifically for Login is permanently Login-only: Vipps cannot add a payment solution to it later, and it cannot be converted. Since you need Recurring for membership fees as well as Login for sign-in, order the payment (ecom) sales unit first, then activate Login on it.

Done in that order you end up with one sales unit, one Merchant Serial Number, and one set of API keys covering both products. Done backwards you end up with two of each, and the Login-only unit has to be replaced.

1. How to apply for Vipps products

You apply through a product order template — a prefilled link Antiform prepares for you, with the partner and pricing fields already set. You do not fill in a blank Vipps form.

What you need before starting

Product order template link: Antiform prepares one per product and sends it to you when your onboarding starts. The templates live in the Vipps partner portal, which Antiform gains access to on partner approval — so there is no link for you to look up yourself.

If Vipps rejects the order, Vipps contacts your organisation directly with the reason. Antiform is not told why, and cannot appeal on your behalf.

2. How the solution is configured

Almost all configuration is Antiform's job. This section exists so you know what is being set on your behalf, and which items need a decision from you.

What you decide

The name and logo are set on your sales unit, by you, on the business portal — they are yours, not Antiform's. Members signing in see your organisation, never ours.

What Antiform configures

ItemDetail
API credentialsHeld centrally by Antiform. You never receive, store, or rotate a Vipps API key.
Redirect URI (Login)https://your-site/api/auth/callback/vipps — whitelisted exactly, HTTPS, no trailing slash
Webhook URL (Recurring)https://your-site/api/vipps/webhook — how Vipps tells the platform a mandate or charge changed state
Sales unit numbersRecorded per product and per environment (test and production)
EnvironmentTest or production, switchable per organisation without a redeploy

Changing the domain your directory runs on affects the redirect URI and the webhook URL. Tell Antiform before a hostname change, not after — both must be re-registered with Vipps, or login and membership charges stop working.

Test before production

Every integration is exercised against the Vipps test environment first, using the Vipps Merchant Test (MT) app. Nothing touches real money until the production sales unit is live and you have confirmed the flows.

3. Using it day to day

Members logging in. A member clicks "Logg inn" on your site, chooses Vipps, confirms in the Vipps app, and returns signed in. There are no passwords for you to administer and no password resets to field. If a member cancels in the Vipps app, they land on a plain page explaining that login was cancelled, with a way to try again.

Membership fees. A member approves a Vipps mandate once. Recurring charges are then raised against that mandate on schedule. Members can see and stop the mandate from the Vipps app at any time — that is Vipps' guarantee to them, not something Antiform can override. Every charge attempt carries an idempotency key, so a network retry cannot double-charge a member.

When a charge fails — insufficient funds, an expired mandate, a member cancellation — Vipps keeps trying for seven days. If it still fails, the platform records the failure against the membership, notifies your administrators, and flags the membership for follow-up. After a set number of consecutive failures the membership is suspended rather than charged indefinitely. That threshold is configured once for the whole platform rather than per organisation, so it is not currently yours to set. Chasing the member is: the platform surfaces the problem and stops charging, it does not resolve it.

Changing a fee. When you change a plan's price, every member whose price changes is emailed their old and new price and the date it applies, and their Vipps agreement is updated to match. Members do not approve the agreement again. A reduction you give one member reaches their agreement by the next morning.

Refunds. Ask Antiform. We can refund a charge in full or in part, and the money goes back to the member through Vipps. You cannot refund from your own admin today.

When a member cancels. Under the platform's current behaviour, cancellation takes effect at period end, uniformly for every organisation — it is not a per-organisation setting. The Vipps agreement stops immediately, but the membership stays active and visible until the end of the period already paid for; a daily sweep then marks it lapsed. A member who cancels before their mandate was ever activated is cleared immediately, since there is no paid period to honour. The same rule applies when Vipps cancels the agreement from their side.

Reconciliation and invoicing. Vipps settles money directly to your bank account, and the platform records every charge it raises and whether it succeeded — that record is what reconciliation runs on. How Antiform then bills your organisation follows your agreement rather than a platform rule; any invoice is between Antiform and you, and members never see it.

Member receipts. Each successful charge appears in the member's own Vipps app, labelled with the product name and description sent at mandate and charge time. The platform does not issue separate PDF receipts or formal invoices to members.

What Antiform can see. Enough to run the integration: which member holds which mandate, and the state and amount of charges. Antiform does not see card numbers, bank credentials, or anything Vipps holds about a member beyond the identity claims the login requests — name, phone number and email.

Getting help

Report Vipps-related problems to Antiform first. Antiform is your first line and escalates to Vipps MobilePay where needed; contacting Vipps directly usually routes back to us and costs a round trip.

Support: support@antiform.as — anything Vipps- or platform-related.
General enquiries: hei@antiform.as

A reply typically comes within one business day. That is a description of what usually happens, not a service level Antiform commits to — we are a small team. If something is affecting your members right now, say so in the subject line and it will be picked up first.

Exception: anything about the KYC decision on your product order is between Vipps and your organisation. Antiform cannot see or influence it.
